As one of Türkiye’s leading industrial companies, exporting value-added products to over 70 countries worldwide, Borsan Cable marked its return to the Middle East Energy Dubai 2025 fair, held between April 7–9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, after the 2024 edition was cancelled due to severe flooding. With a USD 180 million investment launched in 2025 and set to increase its production capacity by 150% over the next three years, Borsan is aiming to accelerate its export growth, strengthen its global market presence, and expand the number of countries in which it holds market leadership.
With a solid legacy of 40 years, and a place among Türkiye’s top 500 industrial enterprises, Borsan Cable continues to deliver value-added exports to over 40 countries across the globe. This year, the company once again took part in Middle East Energy 2025, one of the most prestigious trade events in the Middle East’s energy sector, with its own dedicated booth at the same location.
Hosted by the Ministry of Energy of the United Arab Emirates, this year marked the 49th edition of Middle East Energy, recognized as one of the most reputable global gatherings in the energy industry. The event brought together over 800 exhibitors and commercial buyers, agents, distributors, project owners, consultants, IT professionals, engineers, contractors, entrepreneurs, and government officials from more than 170 countries.
At the exhibition, Borsan showcased its copper and aluminum power and installation cables, low-voltage and special-design cables under the Borsan Cable brand, alongside its Borled branded LED lighting and electrical installation products, highlighting its robust and competitive product range across Turkish and global markets.
Borsan Cable CEO Arbek Akay: “We Have Been Proudly Representing Türkiye at Middle East Energy for Over 20 Years”
Borsan Cable CEO Arbek Akay emphasized the importance of the company’s presence at the fair: “Middle East Energy Dubai is one of the most long-standing and respected global gatherings in the energy sector. We have been a consistent participant for more than two decades. As part of our ambitious export growth strategy, this event plays a key role in strengthening relationships with our clients, establishing new business partnerships, and staying up to date with emerging trends. It also enables us to build networks with participants from all over the world. As a platform dedicated to connecting the global energy community and promoting collaboration in energy diversification, this year we proudly represented both our company and our country with a dedicated booth in our usual location.”
USD 180 Million Investment to Boost Capacity by 150%, Targeting USD 450 Million in Revenue
Highlighting that more than half of the company’s internationally certified products are exported, Akay added: “We continuously expand our product portfolio with innovative, high-quality offerings, and we’re steadily strengthening our position in international markets. With the USD 180 million investment we launched in 2025, we expect a 150% increase in production capacity over three years, and a gradual rise in turnover to approximately USD 450 million. Middle East Energy offers a highly strategic opportunity to reinforce our presence in the Middle East—one of our key export markets.”
Exporting to Nearly 100 Countries, Market Leader in Over 10 with “Made in Türkiye” Products
“We currently deliver value-added exports to nearly 100 countries across four continents,” Akay continued, “and we hold market leadership in more than 10 of them with our ‘Made in Türkiye’ products. Looking ahead, we aim to grow our exports even further, expand our global presence, and increase the number of countries where we lead the market. Our ultimate goal is to maximize the value we bring—to our customers, employees, business partners, local communities, and the Turkish economy—as a global brand. With the support of the TURQUALITY® Program, we are now closer than ever to achieving this vision.”
