Founded in 1984, Borsan is a Turkey-based industrial company that manufactures copper and aluminum power cables as well as weak current cables at its integrated production facilities in Samsun. Operating under the umbrella of Borsan Group—which is active in various sectors including construction, healthcare, and free zone investments—Borsan stands out as one of Turkey’s leading industrial brands with its diversified structure and sustainable growth strategy.

With a portfolio of nearly 10,000 products across 150 product families, Borsan serves a broad customer base both domestically and globally through its strong engineering capabilities, quality-focused production, and flexible solutions. Ranked among Turkey’s top 400 industrial enterprises and top 400 exporters, Borsan exports more than half of its production to nearly 100 countries and holds market leadership in over 10 of them. Borsan holds an approved supplier certificate issued by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Türkiye and is a proud participant in the TURQUALITY® brand support program, accelerating its global branding journey with a solid corporate infrastructure. The company operates from its management office in Ataşehir, Istanbul, and its integrated 80,000 m² production campus in Samsun, employing approximately 540 people directly.

Through its R&D Center, certified by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, Borsan focuses on developing innovative and sustainable solutions tailored to customer needs. R&D investments are concentrated on high value-added product development, advanced technology integration, environmentally conscious production, and continuous enrichment of the product range.

In line with its sustainability goals, Borsan has made significant green investments in 2023 and 2024. The company has reached a total installed capacity of 13.2 MW with its 3.2 MW rooftop solar energy system in Samsun and a 10 MW solar power field in Çorum. As of 2024, Borsan meets 100% of its electricity consumption from renewable sources. In 2025, the company also commissioned a rainwater harvesting system to make its water usage fully sustainable.

Borsan holds numerous national and international certifications including BASEC, CE, CPR, EAC, GOST, REACH, RoHS, TSE, UL, and VDE. It also owns 97 AWM Style quality certifications under the UL framework, making it the producer with the broadest UL-approved product range in Türkiye.

The company’s production of LED lighting and electrical installation materials is carried out by Borled, one of the Borsan Group companies, through an integrated manufacturing structure.
