Housing a T.C. Ministry of Industry and Technology-approved R&D Center staffed by an expert team in an area of approximately 1,000 square meters, Borsan carries out its production activities in Samsun across facilities that span to over 80 thousand square meters, providing direct employment for approximately 540 people. The Borsan Headquarters is in the Worldwide Business Center, located at the heart of the new Financial Center of Ataşehir, Istanbul. With investments launched in 2024, Borsan aims to double its production capacity by 2028.
The Borsan R&D Center focuses its efforts on innovative, reliable, high-quality, and low-cost products that rapidly meet customer needs, maximizing added value. The R&D investments, which are regularly funded from annual turnover, along with process and product development efforts, differentiate Borsan within its sector. In addition to an operational GES system with a capacity of 3.2 megawatts, a GES field with a capacity of 10 megawatts located in Çorum has commenced production in 2024. Thus, in 2024, as it celebrates its 40th anniversary, Borsan meets 100% of its electricity consumption from renewable energy and has reached a total installed capacity of 13.2 megawatts.

Borsan conducts integrated production of Copper Cables, Aluminum Cables, Special Cables, and Low Voltage Cables. Meanwhile, the manufacturing of our LED Lighting and Electrical Installation Materials is conducted in a fully integrated manner under Borled, a subsidiary of Borsan Group.

In 2025, Borsan held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Borsan Cable Integrated Production Facilities, launched with an investment of 180 million dollars as one of the most modern and advanced industrial complexes in Türkiye. Located in the Samsun New Organized Industrial Zone, the facility will be built on a 150,000 square meter site, featuring approximately 120,000 square meters of production space and 8,000 square meters dedicated to R&D and administrative units upon full completion. Once operational within three years, the facility is expected to increase Borsan’s cable production capacity by approximately 150 percent.
